A reference issuer, running on Stellar Testnet

What the issuer does, from wire to payout

A bank wire becomes USDX in a wallet, USDX moves and redeems, and the reserves behind it are signed for anyone to check.

Transcript

With Stablecoin Reference, a business mints USDX from a wire, pays with it on Stellar, and redeems it to its bank. A mock wire with the right reference becomes USDX in the Treasury wallet, with a transaction hash. From there it moves like any Stellar asset: Treasury pays Partner A directly. To redeem, tokens go to a one-time address, are burned, and the mock bank pays out the dollars.

How it works

Follow one dollar from a bank wire to a wallet and back

  1. A wire arrives

Its reference matches a mint request.

  2. The reserve check

Reserves and headroom are checked here, before any mint.

  3. USDX is minted

Only after the reserve check beside it.

  4. It lands in a wallet

With a transaction hash on the ledger.

  5. It moves

Wallet to wallet, like any Stellar asset.

  6. It's burned

Sent to a one-time address to redeem.

  7. Dollars go out

Only after the burn is confirmed.
